Historického úspěchu dosáhl seniorský tým v právě skončené sezoně II.ligy 2024. Po finálovém vítězství v Jičíně získal klub vůbec první trofej v jedenáctkové soutěži. Jedná se o největší úspěch plzeňského amerického fotbalu. V novém seriálu vám postupně představíme celý hráčský kádr, který se na tomto úspěchu podílel. Kdo jiný by nám měl hráče představit, než trenér William Levi Sturgis. Hráči jsou řazeni podle čísel na dresu, dnes si představíme osmou pětici.

The senior team achieved a historic success in the just finished season of II.Liga 2024.After the final victory in Jičín, the club won its first ever trophy in the eleven-team competition. This is the biggest achievement of Pilsen American football. In the new series we will gradually introduce the entire playing squad that contributed to this success. Luděk je oddaným hráčem týmu. Je na každém tréninku a stále se snaží zlepšovat. V minulé sezoně byl naší oporou ve středu obrany a jeho spojení s naším importem mu v příští sezoně pomůže k dalšímu zlepšení.

Ludek is a dedicated player who is loyal to the team. He is at every training and always looking to get better in this sport. He was our big presence in the middle of our defense last season and him pairing with our import will only grow his game even more than he has.

Jirka je legenda. Jsem přesvědčený, že by se v mládí prosadil i v Americe, kdyby se tam narodil. I přes svůj věk stále patří ke špičce na svém postu. Pořád zůstává pro soupeře velkou hrozbou. Bude zábavné sledovat, jak v přístí sezoně bude nastupovat v jednom týmu se svým synem 

Urban is a Legend. One of the few legends I believe could have played in America in his younger age if he was born in the states. He is someone who is still even at his age, someone who is a top. Player in his position. Even at his young age he is still a threat to opposing teams. It will be a fun site to see with him and his son playing next year together.

David je safety, po kterém můžeme v obraně chtít cokoli. Pokryje hráče jeden na jednoho, dalšího zase srazí. Je to velmi dobrý hráč a za poslední dvě sezony se stále zlepšuje.

Pivo is a safety who was asked to do a lot of different things in our defense. Whether it is covering man to man or coming down and making a hit. He is the definition of a strong safety and someone I have noticed who has grown a lot in his game the past 2 seasons.

Jméno: Matěj Šlehofer

Hodnocení trenéra:

Matěj je vyrůstající hvězda. V druhé lize měl loni nejvíce zachycených yardů a touchdownů. V průběhu sezony se pod mentorským vedením Davida Hlaváčka neustále zlepšoval. Je to jeden z nejtalentovanějších receiverů které jsem kdy trénoval a zcela jistě je na té nejlepší cestě stát se dalším Patriotem, který by to mohl dotáhnout na college v USA. 

Slehofer is a star in the making. He led D2 last season in receiving yards and touchdowns. He has improved tremendously throughout the season getting better and better under the mentorship of David H. He is one of the most talented receivers I have coached and full sure on track to be the next Patriots to play on Saturdays in college in America.

ZKušený veterán s buldočí povahou na pozici receivera. Použitelný i jako FB ve slotu. Vždycky přijde a odvede svou práci. Byla radost s ním poslední dva roky pracovat.

Veteran WR who is a bulldog at the position. He is almost like a FB at the slot position. Sure handed guy who comes in and does his job. Loved having him these past 2 years.
